• Enhance community policing and community engagement through the sponsorship of activities that will allow community members the opportunity to get to know the deputies and other members of the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO).

• Focus on enhancing the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) one of the most respected law enforcement agencies in the state.  Support the Deputies and civilian employees by providing continuing education that will enhance their job skills.

• Lead the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) by example, regardless of the situation. Provide service and protect every citizen regardless of the situation by putting the Citizens First.

• Promoting from within the Office to encourage good work ethics with reward.

• Crime reduction

 

• Use crime data to identify patterns and trends

 

• Focus on issues such as Opioids and Human Trafficking, Domestic Violence

 

• Redesign the public information office and enhance the channels for providing information to local press and citizens about crime activity in the County.

 

• Increase accessibility to members of the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office by enhancing the employee directories

 

•  Collaborate with all city and county agencies to provide boarder protections of our citizens

 

• Utilize grant funded positions to acquire more resources and officers to save the taxpayers money.

 

• Partner with the Pitt County Emergency Management to ensure every home can be easily identified from public roads for prompt response of public safety agencies and is registered in CodeRED program. (CodeRED- CodeRED is an emergency notification system that will allow officials to alert registered Pitt County residents to hazards in the county.)
